EMEA Finance has named Stanbic Bank Tanzania, a member of the Standard Bank Group, the best Investment Bank in Tanzania in its 2013 Africa Banking awards.EMEA Finance is a leading bimonthly global industry publication that reports on all major financial transactions and activities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The publication has also awarded Standard Bank Group, Africa’s largest lender by assets, as the Best Investment Bank for the sixth consecutive year.
Standard Bank also scooped ten other awards that recognise its investment banking capabilities across the 18 African markets in which it operates.

The EMEA Finance Awards for 2013 add to Standard Bank’s growing list of international accolades, which saw Standard Bank named Best Investment bank in Africa in the 2013 Euromoney Awards of Excellence, Best Trade bank in sub-Saharan Africa in the 2013 Stanbic Bank Tanzania provides a full spectrum of financial services, with its Corporate and Investment Banking division serving a wide range of requirements for banking, finance, trading, investment, risk management and advisory services.
