Through Tanzania Chamber of Commerce Industry and
Agriculture (TCCIA), the country will in October this year send a delegation of
businessmen to explore trade opportunities in Mexico in an organised Africa
Week in Mexico.
“The week is designed to provide opportunity for promoting
business development and increase commercial exchange between Mexico and
Africa, encouraging sharing experiences and dialogue among institutions and
business communities,” said Mr Machemba.
The Africa Week in Mexico will specifically deal with
sustainable development in Africa and the main themes at the event will dwell
on water and sustainable development, affordable housing and pharmaceutical
sector.
Others will be renewable energy, agriculture, agri-processing and
technological advancement.
