Tanzania's Exim Bank out to boost saving culture

Exim Bank Tanzania held its first monthly draw of its recently launched fixed deposit campaign which aims at fostering a savings culture.

The draw, which was supervised by the Gaming Board of Tanzania (GBT), was the first of six monthly draws that will be conducted as part of the promotion.

Mr Aloyse Maro, the bank’s product Manager shared his thoughts on the winners’ announcement by saying the campaign was launched as part of the bank’s drive and constant effort to provide its loyal customers with value added benefits. He revealed that the lucky winner won an iPhone 6.

“We would like to give our hearty congratulations to the winner and thank them and all of our other customers for banking with us.

It goes to show the level of trust our customers hold with us and our aim is to build on that trust and provide them with many more such prize winning moments,” he said while calling upon existing and potential Exim Bank customers to actively participate in the promotion.

He further reminded customers that they can still win prizes, as there were five more draws as well as the grand draw for the car.

“This promotion runs for five more months, there are still more prizes to be won, including the grand prize of a car, which one lucky customer will win at the end of the campaign. We encourage all our customers and members of the public to participate in this promotion.”

He ended by highlighting that along with the prizes that customers win, the campaign offers very attractive interest rates on the fixed deposits as part of the promotion, thereby further rewarding customers.

“Along with the great prizes that are still there to be won, all customers who participate earn attractive interest in their fixed deposits”.
