Business prospects in 2014 better - TTCL

Tanzania Telecommunication Company Limited (TTCL) is optimistic of doing great in 2014 and remain unrivalled in data, voice and internet services it provides.

TTCL’s Chief of Marketing and Sales Officer, Peter Ngota said in Dar es Salaam that its business prospects looked brighter for 2014 and the company is set to improve the services it offers to its customers.

“I call upon Tanzanians to continue use our improved services in the coming new year of 2014,” he said when presenting New Year’s gifts to three Dar es Salaam based orphanage centres.

He said the company would expand its mobile phone services to both urban and rural Tanzania as a way of complementing government’s policy of making communication accessible to all people for development.

He noted that the state-of the- art next generation system ready to serve the needs of 21st Century and beyond would greatly improve services to its clients for both data and voice service over fixed and mobile networks.

He said the system that was inaugurated some few weeks ago can be considered state of the art in East and Central Africa’s ICT industry.

“This system which was implemented by the company’s local expert team in collaboration integrators from ZTE, Huawei’s experts and several vendors will see the company’s clients enjoy better services,” he said.

He explained that the new system ensures a significant improvement in the quality of customer experience and more efficient customer service than before.

“On top of this more people and institutions will be connected with the national optical fibre network,” Mr Ngota said.
