The unveiling of the improved product took place during a breath taking networking event between bank officials, customers and potential customers, held in Dar es Salaam at the weekend and coloured by strong encouraging messages from Michal Shirima, Chairman of Precision Air, who was a motivation speaker for the night.
Mr Shirima explained enthusiastic Stanbic customers, why he had to resign from Air Tanzania and struggled through tough times to form a strong local Airline brand in Tanzania.
“If you want to succeed in business, you have to be patient, endure in all conditions, be truthful in your relations with your supplier and customer and also work hard towards achieving your targets,” said Mr Shirima.
Speaking about the product, just before bringing on stage a renowned East African stand-up comedian, Mdomo Buggy (Maurice Ochieng- who also thrilled the audience), Stanbic Bank Tanzania Personal and Business Banking Head, Paul Omara, said the redefined Executive banking product was designed based on customer’s feedbacks and insights.
“We are this excited to introduce to you our new redefined Executive Banking package. We designed Executive Banking based on your (customers) feedback and insights and we are thus happy to extend to you the benefits that you will enjoy as a Stanbic Bank Tanzania Executive Banking customer,” said Mr Omara.
The Bank’s customers can now avoid multiple fees that can be confusing and unpredictable thus, for a fixed monthly fee or a minimum account balance, a customer is assured of getting multiple benefits and exclusive service at his/her disposal.
He mentioned that for a fixed monthly fee or a minimum account balance an Executive Banking customer would enjoy having a Gold Visa debit card for his/her local and international transactions plus online shopping and POS transactions, have a free ATM transactions, free telling services, free monthly Internet Banking, free dedicated Executive Banker and Teller and also enjoy having a free banking at a reasonable balance.
“Among others, you will have 24/7 access to a dedicated Executive Banking team who will work seamlessly to ensure that all your banking needs are met,” said Mr Omara.
He said their expertise on emerging markets and being present in 17 countries in Africa with Tanzania being one of the Standard Bank Group’s primary locations, coupled with over 150 years banking experience, Stanbic Bank (a member of Standard Bank Group) continually endeavor to offer its customers a superior and unique banking experience.
Entertainment provided by Waketu Band cupped the colourful event, making the networking event a more social gathering.
