Tanzania issues tsunami warning along coastline

Tsunami hits Indonesia's costs, Wednesday morning
Tanzania's Meteorological Agency announced a warning for a tsunami on its coastline after an 8.6 magnitude earthquake struck off the Indonesian coast. 

TMA said the most affected areas expected to be Zanzibar, Tanga Lindi and Mtwara regions and the waves might hit the coasts around 18:00hrs local time. Ferries plying between Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar were called off in the wake of the warning.
