DSE Indexes edge north

Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) indexes edged upwards today as a result of TBL price gain by 0.99 per cent to 2,040/-.

DSEI gained 0.66 points to 1,300.61points while Tanzania all Share Index (TSI) gained 2.80 points to close at 1,129.16 points.  

According to DSE Daily Market report, market turnover increased more than ten folds compare to the previous session. A turnover of 264.52m/- was recorded from sales of 129,406 shares compare to a turnover of 21.49m/- from sales of 24,646 shares in the previous session

Twiga was today’s top trader with a turnover of 253.15m/- from sales of 121,706 shares.  Foreign investors did not participate in today’s trading.
