CRDB
bank share price on Thursday hit a new low level since this year started after
dropping by 2.34 per cent to close the trading at 125/- a piece.
The
bank share price slumping pushed all
Indices south with Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSEI) closing at 1,322.58
points a drop of 0.61 points while Tanzania
Share Index (TSI) closed at 1,222.08
points a drop of 2.59 points.
Nevertheless,
the bourse recorded an improvement of 89.10m/- from 261,023 shares in comparison
to the previous session which recorded a turnover of 7.33m/- from 16,669 shares.
NMB
was the top trader with 30.45m/- which is 34.1 per cent of the total turnover,
followed by CRDB with 27.03m/- which was 30.3per cent of the total turnover and
TCC with 16.9m/- represented 19 per cent of the total turnover.
Other
counters that recorded activity today were Simba 9.9m/- and Twiga 4.6m/-. Foreign
investors’ participation was not active in today’s session.
