DSE brokers at trading floor |
Dar
es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) indices today edged downwards following CRDB
share price dropping by 3.03 per cent.
The
second leading bank share price went down from 165/- to 160/- pulling with it
indices. DSEI lost 1.23 points to close at 1299.95 points while TSI lost 5.18
points to close at 1126.36 points.
Despite
the price dropping, CRDB was the top trader with a turnover of 56.59m/- from
sales of 348,400 shares.
Twiga,
a cement manufacturing firm, was the only other counter to record activity with
a turnover of 1.32m/-. DSE has 17 listed firms.
Foreign
investors did not participate in today’s trading.
