at ATCL, Ms Mwanamvua Ngocho (ATC House branch) and Mr Pascal Norbert
(Airport branch) the workers promised to meet their obligations at the

The workers also commended the Minister
for Transport Mr Omar Nundu for his efforts in strengthening the airline
and ensuring it contributes to national coffers.
“ATCL workers condemn the newspaper report because they are false and the trade union has its own system of receiving complaints from workers and not through the media,” reads part of the statement.

The workers have therefore called on the
government and other stakeholders to ignore media reports which, they
claimed, aim at mudslinging the ATCL management. According to the
statement, such media reports will only slow down the company which has
recently gained momentum under the management of Acting Managing
Director, Mr Paul Chizi.
