Tanzania: DSE poll shows 20% can buy entirely 1.5tri/- tele-company IPOs

Tanzania is expecting to see three initial public offers for three mobile phone service provider in this first half. 

The amount of estimated 1.5tri/-, some pundits, think is to huge for the market to handle. 

However, Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) ran a online spot survey asking 'wananchi their projection of the sales and ability to handle the historical IPOs.

According to the survey results, those who had trusted the market has ability representing 19% of total votes, those who doubted were 44%, and those who said not all but partial 31% while 6% they don't know.  

The IPOs, according to sources, will be issued in phases starting in the second quarter.
