TATA Motors has introduced three dynamic vehicles in the East Africa’s market with the warrant of three years.
Speaking during a launch ceremony in Dar es Salaam on Monday night, the Country Manager-South Africa and Tanzania, Mr Gurinder Singh, said the dynamic products would help them to grow in the new passenger vehicle segment and further strengthen position in the market.
“We have rolled out HORIZONEXT strategy which is the customer focused strategy for the country. This strategy is based on four pillars, which are intense product focus, focus on world-class manufacturing practices,” he said.
The three new introductions are Tata Aria, the Sports Utility Vehicle, Tata Storme and the luxurious sedan, Tata Manza. In his remarks, Tata Africa Holdings (Tanzania) Limited Executive Director, Mr Ajay Mehra, said the launch of range of passenger vehicles from Tata Motors is yet another step towards consolidating Tata Tanzania’s commitment to aspiring customers.
Tata Motors is India’s largest automobile company with consolidated revenues of $ 34.4 billion in 2012/13.
