Mantrac Tanzania has partnered with Stanbic bank to facilitate purchase of CAT construction equipment through provision of loans at competitive interest rates.Mantrac is Caterpillar authorised dealer responsible for distributing and supporting construction, power systems, mining and material handling equipment in nine countries, including Tanzania.
According to Mantrac Tanzania Sales Manager Grey Kasamala, the company distributes and supports full range of CAT construction equipment.
“We distribute a range of CAT construction equipment through our Dar es Salaam head office and extensive branch network in Mwanza, Mbeya, Moshi and Tanga.”
The Mantrac-Stanbic deal will facilitate customers’ immediate access to required assets, provide working capital and asset-backed financing.
Mr Kasamala assured prospective customers that CAT construction equipment sold by Mantrac Tanzania were affordable and accessible by all classes of customers at competitive prices.

He allayed fears on the unavailability of genuine spare parts and technical expertise, saying Mantrac Tanzania supplies the parts and offers the expertise.
