TaTePa share surges to ten months higher

Tanzania Tea Packers (TATEPA) share gained 75/- to 400/- today (Wednesday), the highet since January.

The Chai Bora tea brand maker share despite gaining considerably from 325/- to 400/- per shares, it is still a low level compared to 475/- in the last 12 months. 

Nevertheless, the TaTePa share appreciation failed to push north Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) indicies rather plummeted after Twiga and Swissport shares lost. 

All indices edged south with DSEI closing at 1,459.18 points (-2.09) and TSI at 1,297.23 points (-8.83) , pulled down by decline of share prices on Twiga and Swissport counters  by 100/- to 2,500/- and 40/- to 1,660/- per share respectively.
