Syria's Defence
Minister Daoud Rajiha and President Assad's brother-in-law, Assef Shawkat, have
been killed by a suicide blast in the capital, Damascus, state media report.
BBC said several other people are reported to have been
injured, including the interior minister, in the attack on the National
Security Building in Rawda district.
Anti-government fighters say they are carrying
out a major rebel offensive on the city.
