ATCL flight overshoots runway, passengers survived

ATCL flight at Kigoma

Air Tanzania flight has overshoots the runway when taking off at Kigoma Airport this (Monday) morning, but all 35 passengers on board and crew survived death.  

   

According to the early reports the cause of accident is not yet known but the aircraft, Dash 8, was severe damaged after overshoot the run away as one wing is completely cut off. 

The flight was taking off to Dar es Salaam around 11: 00am (local time). 

ATCL had only one aircraft in operation after another Dash 8 is grounded for maintenance reasons. Its leased Airbus 320 is out of operation due to wet leasing agreement problems.
