Dar's East African Cables opens Arusha branch to reach customers

Contractors from the Northern zone will no longer need to travel to Dar es Salaam or Nairobi to purchase electrical and data cables.

This follows a move by East African Cables Tanzania Limited (EA Cables) to open a new branch in Arusha a move which will see contractors and domestic cable users have access to cables without experiencing extra travel costs.

According to EA Cables Commercial Manager Hamad Suleiman Mohamed the growing demand of electrification in the country and the difficulties EA Cables customers get when travelling to Dar es Salaam are the main reasons for opening a new branch.

The firm has factors in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Nairobi, Kenya.
